#7. Dripping Certainty.

A cupboard was found inside a lake.
It contained a teaspoon, a half-knitted scarf,
and one of those things that might be a seed or a stone,
depending on who asks.

The lock was made of jelly.
The key was missing.
A fish claimed responsibility
but refused to testify.

At 3:14 p.m., a letter was delivered to no one.
It said only:
You didn’t misplace it.
It simply moved when you blinked.

The woman reading it nodded once,
then replaced her shoes with soup
and walked home slowly,
dripping certainty.

No gods, no newsletters.
We do not interrupt by email.
